O, Viridissima by Judith Weir, based on a hymn by Hildegard von Bingen begins the program. The trio follows this opening with the first trio of Samuel Adler. For the second half, the trio will be joined by violinist, Dr. Penny Thompson Kruse for the Quartet in C minor by Gabriel Faure.

Brookings Chamber Music Society
Join us for a varied program entitled Healing Journeys. We will play Mendelssohn's magnificent C minor trio, Emma Lou Diemer's joyful Trio No. 2 which calls us to "...roll out the barrel...," Ingrid Stolzel's meditative "The Road is All" and 3 Jazzicals by Ilan Rechtmann.
